Has a guy ever asked out, out of the blue. A stranger pretty much.
Have you said yes? How do you feel when this happens? Flattered, creeped out, scared....?
I was just curious, it doesnt have to be a creepy scary guy, but u know, someone that approaches you and ends up asking you out.

Yes I was asked out by several strangers when working at Dunkin Donuts when I was 17-21yrs old. Technically, they are strangers because I don't know them. But the scariest thing was not the fact these people asked me out to my face, but they called me on the phone at work!! I would get a call at work, and I would get nervous because I never got calls at work (I figured it was my mother or father calling me). But I had a guy and an older man call me at work asking if I wanted to go out with them!! It was really creepy...Just knowing that they can get in touch with you while you are at work is weird. Now if they asked me to my face I would not have felt as weird. I felt really violated when they called me on the phone, because it was almost like they dialed my home number without me giving it to them. It was way too personal.
Nowadays, I don't think its such a hot idea to start asking people out off the street. You never really know. Last year when I was in NY a museum worker asked me out. But I did not feel weird (I was flattered), but the only way I would have gone out with them is if I talked to them a little more. And if we did go out, it would be with my own car and other people with me. And I would definitely not have a nightcap with someone who just asked me out without knowing me. You never know what could happen.
I am not scared when someone asks me to my face I guess. The scary thing would be calling me at work or sending me weird emails or love letters.

Yes it has happened
Depends on how he looks.
If he looks like Gollum's cousin, then I feel scared, disturbed and I promptly find a nice closet to cry in (joke)
If he seems friendly, is decent looking, has on clean clothes then I am quite flattered and I talk for a little bit then exchange numbers. I wouldn't go out with a complete stranger.
P.S. It also helps if they smell good.

No lie this freaks me out. I think that a man should ask for a phone number first then work his way up to maybe dinner or a movie. I think this is totally scary. I hate it and it happens to me about 3 or 4 times out of the week.

"Thanks in advance. Take care." That is very courteous! Anyways there is not cut set answer to this question. It depends on the guy. If it is someone I was too shy to talk to of course I will be very happy he asked me out. If it is some guy that smells bad and looks disheveled I will be creeped out and wonder why in the hell am I attracting psychos???? If you are thinking of approaching a girl who does not know you and asking her out I suggest making sure you look presentable; that should be sufficient.

I have had it done but then again I have also done it. I think if his approach is right we don't creep out. I mean if you just walk up to me and are like hey lets go out tonight i am gonna tell ya where to go. I just think that you have to make your approach appropriate for the situation, and maybe even just like let her be leary. My favorite one was this guy, he said I know you don't know me from every other guy in this resturant but I think you look very nice tonight and if you'd like I would enjoy your company tonight at such and such place and such and such time, if your there thats cool if not maybe we will meet again sometime.

this has happened to me a few times- i was flattered but, i so far have never gone out with someone who i didnt know through some contact and time.

well it depend...actually my exbf the first time i met him....it was creepy not bcoz he look ugly or anything like that it just he already knowed me...he knows where i used to work, my name, my friends and etc...its freaking me out.. trust me and i never seen him before.
he was my stacker before.....but for some reason i start liking him and now were over.......LOL
