JohnDavis...They didn't get to look at any V-6 Camries (sp?) because they just don't have that many on stock anywhere. I think I heard them say that for every V-6 Camry they make, they make about 50 4 cylinder ones. My parents went to three different Toyata places, and only one V-6 was on one of the lots, but it was already sold. High demand, but they don't make a lot of them. So I guess most Camries you see on the road these days is a 4 cyliner.

I suggest the Honda so you can name it E Honda, like in Street Fighter II. A good name for a vehicle is essential. My last truck, a Ford Ranger, was named Bertrand for Bertrand Russell, a famous philosopher. My Peugot was named Yves, because it was French. My current truck is named Charles.

Wow. Why are they looking a V-6 version of the Honda and a 4 of the Camry? I would definitely go with the Honda because of the V-6. They have a silky-smooth V-6 that are a lot of fun to drive. I do like the new Camry though. Just my opinion.

The reason you see so many 4 cylinder Camry's is because of Toyota's fantastic engine technology. VVT or variable valve timing is on all the new 4 cylinders, the cylinders automatically adjust to your driving needs and it has a transmission that memorizes your driving style over about 2 weeks to make it more efficient. Really and honestly if you drive the Camry you will not notice any lack of horsepower. They are spacious and most importantly, RELIABLE. They also less expensive to get insurance for. I love them.

If they not too concerned about power; I would get the Toyota. I like to do my own maintenance on my car and V-6 engines are hell to change the back Spark Plugs and Wires. If they hire repair work it would also be cheaper to maintain the Toyota. The 4 cylinder be easier to work on. Both of these cars are very dependable and will last many, many years and miles with regular oil change and tune ups. Oil change most important for life. Tune Up important for good fuel economy.
