Lamaze classes aren't needed. We just had a family friend come to our house to show us breathing exercizes. It was cheaper and less time consuming. I have 2 children. My first I was in labor 36 hours. I went 24 hours with no pain meds. My second labor lasted 26 hours. I lasted 22 hours without pain medication. Next time I become pregnant, I will do the same thing I did with my first child. No need in wasting money.

Oh, the friend is a registered nurse who works in a maternity ward. I agree with you but yet I don't. Is the father any less of a man if he can't make it to the classes because he's working his butt off before the baby gets here? I don't think so.

I THINK IT SHOWS A WILLINGNESS ON THE PART OF THE FATHER. MY BOYFRIEND KEPT ASKING ME ABOUT PRENATAL\LAMAZE CLASSES WHEN I WAS ONLY 4 MONTHS PREGNANT. WE BEGAN GOING AT THE END OF MY SEVENTH MONTH AND NOW IM 8 1/2 MONTHS PREGNANT. WE BOTH ENJOY IT AND HIM PUTTING FORTH SAYS ALOT ABOUT HIM BEING A FATHER, B-C I CAN SEE THATS ITS GENUINE!
