No, if it's well kept, has good style and looks attractive on her, then why would be inappropriate?
Is there an age where suddenly you have to cut off all your hair and go all granny-style? NO!!!!

Not at all, keep it as long as you want, lenght and time wise :) if you like how it looks, you never know when you won't be able to choose.And I just realized something, you said almost 30! Whats wrong with almost 30?? Is that supposed to be an old age or something ?? I'm almsot 30, why would you think its inappropriate? LOL I think I may have issues with going on 30......
*Also, I still wear my hair in pigtails*

ABSOLUTELY NOT...........IF YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF IT AND IT HAS A HEALTHY SHINE TO IT BY ALL MEANS WEAR IT THE WAY YOU LIKE...I KNOW WOMEN WHO ARE IN THEIR 50-60 THAT HAVE LONG HAIR...BUT THEY ALSO TAKE REAL GOOD CARE OF THEIR HAIR...YOU SHOULD HAVE YOU ENDS TRIMMED ABOUT EVERY 6 WEEKS AND I MEAN MAYBE A 1/4 INCH OFF AT THE MOST IF YOU WANT LONG HAIR...YOU SHOULD NEVER USE A BRUSH IN THE WHEN IT IS WET...ALWAYS USE A WIDE TOOTH COMB...AT NIGHT BRAID IT OR AT LEAST TIE IT BACK SO THERE AREN'T ANY SNARL IN THE MORNING..IF THERE ARE SOME TRY TO WORK THEM OUT INSTEAD OF JUST PULLING THEM OUT...BECAUSE YOU ARE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE HAIR...MORE SPLIT ENDS...GOOD LUCK AND DON'T LET OTHERS RUN YOUR LIFE...

I am 40 and my hair is past my waist. There is no reason long hair should be inappropriate at any age as long as you take care of it and wear it well.

Yes - I hate it when people tell me to cut my hair in order to be treated seriously!

Women should just keep it maintained. If it's super long, just make sure to get a trim every few weeks.
I've seen elder woman with long hair that is out of control. It reminds me of long nails that curl over and have blood vessels all over. just control it.

Long hair makes you more beautiful. I don't think you're too old for that until you're about 50. I met someone who was 42 with long hair and she was so pretty I would've never guessed her age. I thought she was about my age, mid-late twenties.

HOW long? I've seen waist length hair on women and my initial thought is that is someone who is self absorbed with her hair. I might be wrong, but something to consider.

If your hair is healthy and looks good than its appropriate.I am thirty five with long hair.and I think you should not go by age, but by what it looks like .Sometimes to long is not so good.Mine has been to long before nowits to my waste and its great.

Yeah i think it is because i love long hair it is way prettyer than all the short hair ppl. it dependes on what you think of it i would say yes!!!
