When you say, "Word to your mother" does this mean give your mom my best?

Yes it does....When people used to say it back in the day it had the meaning of..."Give your mother my best" But when you think about it it didnt mean that the person saying it was good friends with your mom it meant that they were hooking up with you mom. Kinda like today when someone says something like Tell your mom i had fun last night...it means they would hook up with them.
