No cats are felines and dogs are from the canine species. Only organisms in the same species can mate.

Do you remember the cabbit? It was a cross between a cat and a rabbit. It had the face of a cat but the tail of a rabbit. I'm not joking, it was real, but I don't remember what happened to it.

Dogs and cats cannot be interbred, however, cats and rabbits often have viable offspring. They are called CABBITS. They very rarely live longer than birth though.

each living thing has dna and in dna there chromosomes all species are unique the chromosomes are all numbered and if they no not match up there cannot be a cat\dog have you tried this ....sick-o
