Everyone can apply for head start. And the Head Start in Harrison County in Gulfport does an excellent job of teaching the children. A lot of people think head start is just one giant rip off of tax dollars. I work with day care centers and head start centers in Louisiana and I have to tell you---Head Start provides THAT---A HEAD START for the little people who are fortunate to be selected for the program. Everyone can get an application and have the application process explained. Call the head start programs in your area and ask them to send you an application. If they won't send it, drive over and pick it up. It seems to me I remember the Gulfport area has more than one head start center in the area. But I could be wrong about that.

Your child will benefit greatly from being in the program. It is not a giant babysitting service. They teach the children GREAT THINGS!
