I know ur supposed to use an activation code by 30 days but mine wont work, and i need to know if theres a way to get past that???

simple answer is NO. if you don't put your activation code in within 30 days your machine will freeze up on day 31 and you will have two choices. 1) input the correct code or 2) reboot your machine from scratch including formatting the hard drive.
If you have a genuine copy of xp that came with your machine with the activation code printed on a sticker on the back then phone the Microsoft number that appears on your screen when you attempt to input your activation. Here an operator will take the activation code from you check that it is a genuine key and give you a new one over the phone which they make sure is working before you hang up.

Yeah, if you own a legit copy of windows and you're having problems, you should get ahold of microsoft asap. I would complain if I were you. People will say that the easiest way to do things is to buy it, there are ways around it, but I would say for now, if its legit, call.

The easiest way is to actually buy Windows. If you did and are having a legitimate problem, you should contact Microsoft.
