I have a HP Office jet Series 500 and can't figure out how to get it to scan. Help please.?

Nothing comes up about scanning when I go to "my computer", printers, etc.

For scanning, you need a scan program. It should come with the CD from HP Office jet or you can download from HP site.

After installed the program and driver, you should be able to scan.
