Flying to Texas is fine. Flying in Texas can be hell in the summer time during the thunderstorm season. I don't get flight sickness, but I came close a few times while flying in Texas.

When I first met my wife, she was living in Texas (right by the Mexican border) and I was in upstate New York. So, I got to fly down to Texas a lot when we were still dating. The flight was alright and it took roughly 8 hours (including the lay-over) to fly down.

I fly from Northern California to Austin and it's completely fine. About 3 hours without stops. Any longer that would start making me crazy. Austin Bergstrom Airport is really nice and easy to navigate through also.

Do you mean how long of a flight? Do you want to know what to expect when you get here? Where are you coming from? Where are you going? We need more info. I will tell you one thing, it is SUPER hot right now. It's not pleasant.
