OMG - NO!!
I don't want anyone else seeing what's going on inside MY head.......
I want to get away with being polite to people that I secretly think of as a*seholes.....
and I want to get away with PRETENDING to believe that people who may think that I am an a*sehole - really LIKE me!

Mystery is a good thing. Can you imagine walking on a crowded sidewalk looking into the foreheads of strangers and seeing really scary stuff? (i.e. the postal worker on his way in to slaughter co-workers) What do you do with that sort of info?
I agree with you that it would be nice to know what really goes on in the minds of the people we interact with on a daily basis (family, friends), but we'd be leaving ourselves open for unintentional wounds (do I look fat in this? How much to you really love me?)
You must be 100% sweet at all times to want to allow the world into your head to see what is going on!

You're forgetting that whatever other people saw going on in our minds would be open to their own interpretations and misinterpretations, and they would act accordingly. Just because they could see what someone else was thinking would not mean they would understand it in the way that person understood it. It would just become another level at which we would miscommunicate.

You don't need one as your eyes are the window of your life, they see all you have to see and take in all you want to take in.

lmao....for starters, we still wouldn't be able to see what is going on, but everyone else would, we would have no secrets or privacy. i'd prefer to have eyes that roll back into my head!
