Jehovah is the only one mentioned in the Bible as God Almighty; he is eternal; he is everlasting. By means of the power he bestowed upon his created Son, Jesus, all things in the universe came into existance. "Jehovah" means "He causes to become", so when the need arises, he is a Warrior, he is a Judge, he is a Deliverer.....he becomes what is needed in order to accomplish His purpose or deliver His people. With the exception of 3 instances, whenever the Bible speaks of Jehovah talking to people (such as with Moses at the burning bush) it is he speaking through an angelic representative. The same applies to any mention of him walking on the ground. There is no way the earth could support the glory of Jehovah, thus no way he could come down literally to walk the earth. He is both the Almighty God of the "new" and "old" testaments.

Jehovah is God. He has never walked on the earth however, that was Jesus. Jehovah did speak to few people however. Such as Moses and I htink Noah. He is the one that commanded Noah to build the arch before the great flood and he is also the one that made earth and everything living on it. He IS the TRUE God. He is not different in the new or old testimate.

I shall attempt to give you an answer of simplicity:
Jehovah is the modern version of the original name mankind gave to God: Yaweh. But these are man's names. God has no name. He is "I am." No individual identification through names is given to the great I AM.
I AM the all, the everything. All knowledge is contained in Me, sayeth the Lord.
You were created in His image which is spirit, and behind the appearance of human life is the spirit-mind He created and is like Himself. You are that spirit likened to Him.
God is the same at all times. He does not evolve, change, nor alter. He is steadfastly the same - always.
Mankind shifts it's positions - alters and changes. We see things differently at different times. Our perspectives of what is so keeps altering through the years of our lives.
Yaweh was seen through the eyes of mankind as a war God. A jealous God. A fearful God. We made of Him, through our perspective at the time, an unloving Father. Truly, He is love. Steadfast, Sacred Heart, Awesome love!
In terms of pure spirituality - NOT traditional religion - the Holy Spirit came into being to fulfill a purpose God had in mind. The actions the Holy Spirit has initiated in the lives of humans is for the purpose of bringing about the fulfillment of God's Plan for us - His Children. This entailed, back in ancient times, leading us away from the multi-gods belief, re-establishing in us the knowledge of one God and using a group of people to carry the message of this and establish a foundation that would eventually deliver a House built upon it - Christianity. The historical events of mankind in the building of the foundation and later the House, were initiated by the Holy Spirit on earth - on behalf of the Father. These initiated events by the Holy Spirit are the cause of different perspectives we have of the Father and what He was trying to accomplish through His created Holy Spirit. But evolution in our intellect appears to give The Father a different appearance during each event. Truly, in Reality, He never changes.
Spirit contains the attributes, that we describe here on earth, of the feminine and the masculine. I AM is a spirit that is all knowing and contains the qualities of both. Power = masculinity in this world (although WE are shifting that thought to include the feminine as well). Nurturing, love and sweetness = femininity (WE are also altering that presently). God is not a woman. He is not a Man. He is spirit. He is the Creator. We belong to Him and are in His image.
The human appearance is another whole explanation in itself. To those who would desire to know of this, if the question is asked - I shall answer.

Jehovah is the English translation of the divine name of the Almighty God of the Holy Scriptures. He is the Father and Creator of the Messianic Christ Jesus.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. But just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them
The personality traits of Jehovah God are remarkably consistent, with love, justice, wisdom, and power in perfect balance. Jehovah never materializes in bodily form, although at times He has assigned angels to do so. At times, an angel of Jehovah acts as Jehovah's direct agent and thus humans who converse with the angelic proxy are said to converse with Jehovah.

Jehovah in another translation of the name Jesus, and more or less means God With You. God can take any form he pleases, and the way he deals with humanity reflects those peoples situation. He was strict with the Jews while they were nomads and forming their own country. If he hadn't been, they probably wouldn't have survived their first couple of centuries. Now that the danger is passed, he deals with humanity differently.

Jehovah is God's name and I'm not JW, you really should read more.
Let's look at this another way, some days can you be angry and others more relaxed? Do you take out your feelings on those around you? Do you have kids? How do you handle disciplining them? Well, we are made in out Father's image, so it stands to reason that He is similar to us in how he handles things and gets things done.

Since the Bible was written by man it can't be a very good source to describee God.In fact I am willing to bet that not a single word in the Bible would describ him/her correctly.
