I had all four wisdom teeth extracted yesterday, and as the day is progressing, my left side of my dace is swelling, at a much faster rate than my right side, Is this normal?

Yes, you are fine. The teeth on your left were probably more difficult to remove and more trauma was caused on that side hence the increased inflammation.

the teeth may have been harder to extract on one side. Do you have a fever? or any discharge? Has the gauze come out of the tooth pockets? If yes to any of this call your dds. If the swelling is the only symptom then put an icepack on your cheek and take tylenol

Yes,just make sure you don't get any thing stuck in there.you could very easily get an infection.

most definitely...depending on how much manipulation it took to remove the wisdom tooth
