Sound like you need to talk to your psychiatrist and have you medications changed. It may take a few tries until he figures out what works for you. I know a few people that had to do the same thing.

Mental Health facilities are available in every state of our great nation. You should consider going to one, and letting them monitor you with differents meds. I know you have to be in hell, having an imaginary wife...bad enough being a real one, but an imaginary one...

Try talking to an imaginary shrink they're cheaper uno. Get an imaginary lawyer (cheaper yet) and divorce your imaginary wife in imaginary court. You might try getting caught with an imaginary girlfriend too. I used to have an imaginary girlfriend when I was intimate with my ex wife it was good for awhile too. Problem was my wife would talk and ruin it. I would complain to your imaginary pharmacist about your imaginary meds too. And please for your own safety don't overdose on your imaginary meds either.

since you are on meds I am assuming you see a doctor. You started off by saying you pretended for many years, start pretending that you are getting a divorce and go see your doctor again and tell all. Get your meds changed and go into therapy.

You need to talk to a professional and be reassessed. You seem lucid enough to know you're meds aren't working, and are able to distinguish between reality and fantasy so now is the time to get help. Good luck. :)

Get some nice vacations to some tropical place and forget everything.

Tip*** Try to ask those voices for the lottery numbers, you never know (seriously)

If everything fails go to some nice hospital and intern yourself, some are pretty nice

you are not hallucinating, you either have a fixed delusion, or you have a personality disorder. Either way medications will not be very effective. you need lots-o-therapy
