I lost my credit card and am waiting for it to be replaced but I have to travel from Termini to Ancona, and go from Ciampino to Termini, but When I was in France it was sooo important to have the credit card everywhere I went... I would really appreciate the help!

I lost my credit card and am waiting for it to be replaced but I have to travel from Termini to Ancona, and go from Ciampino to Termini, but When I was in France it was sooo important to have the credit card everywhere I went... I would really appreciate the help! I will have access to cash and am gonna get some money wired to me. But I mean in train stations and so.. can you buy tickets with cash.. I hate it is easier to book everything on line :(

A credit card is handy, but not essential. Like in the USA, some vendors (like hotels) like to imprint a credit card for security. You do need access to cash; a credit card, an ATM card, or someone at home to wire money to you.

it depends on if you have access to cash? If you have your account details and some ID go into a bank and make a Cash withdrawal from your account. Or give your bank a call and ask how you can access your account in order to live before your credit card replacement comes. You still have to pay for your train tickets, food, accommodation....you need cash

yeah it kinda is, since you dont have to worry about cashing out money every time. the only thing i recommend you to be careful is to CHECK every time they pass the credit card through the machine, its happened to people ive heard on tourist, who at restaurants and stores, the people have passed the credit card through the machine about 3 to 4 times! either without letting the owner of the credit card notice or with the excuse that the credit was rejected and had to repass it again. they do it to tourists since after a couple of days they are long gone and dont have the easy way of going back and complaining. be careful!!
its happened to me where they passed my credit card, and they told it wasnt accepted, i always made sure they gave the paper roll it printed out saying that precisly that the credit card wasnt accepted. ive never been cheated, but i always check they give me that little paper reciept saying it was rejected.
