Look for a wine that states "unfined" on the lable. Fining is the use of egg whites to clarify the wine.

Gigondas is a good example that is readily available.

There are many things used to clarify (fine) a wine. Egg whites are used but not necessarily. Even if they are used, they completely settle out of the wine, or else the wine would be cloudy.

I would say that all wines are suitable for vegetarians.
