Allergy shots are a preferred method for a lot, it makes your allergies less sensitive to the source. It's not just A shot though. It is a course of treatment of so many shots a week or 2 weeks and may take years. The overall outcome seems to be worth it.

Allergy shots are a mixed bag. They do work for some people, but not necessarily for everyone. I had allergy shots, and they only made me feel sick all the time. But the brighter side is that they can work, but it is not a "one shot" deal. People usually have to take allergy shots for 2 or more years, usually weekly, and then they may be able to stop taking them. But, if one really wants to beat an allergy, it just may work. But remember, it will take a few years, and will not be cheap.

The NHS won't supply you a shot, in case at some point you have anaphylactic ask your self (an allergic reaction which would be existence-threatening, the type that makes nut-allergic people's throats swell up so as that they are in a position to now not breathe) - and that they might desire to grant you one then. I used to stay in Spain and have been given an injection each and every Spring that saved hayfever at bay. not here. So: Boots a million an afternoon non-drowsy antihistamine tables AND Flixonase hypersensitive reaction spray up the nostrils. My better half has a foul animal hypersensitive reaction and the Boots pills helped.

That I know of, there are no shots that provide immediate relief. There are, however shots that you give to yourself everyday, for ummm, a couple of years and it helps your body become immune to that particular allergy.

Yes, there is, and it is 100% effective. A .22 shot to the head of the cat....... check local laws before administering, as it may be illegal in your county.
