I had to wear uniform to school in Russia. Hated it back then and tried wearing jeans instead of trousers as much as I could. But in retrospective it might not be so bad: people don't judge each other of their clothing. Kids could be cruel especially to someone with lower income parents. They can express themselves with clothing outside of school time.

Good. Saves you time in deciding what to wear.

I wear a uniform. Been wearing a uniform in way or another for most of the past 30 years. Saves me a lot on clothes. It's no biggie.

Almost all schools in the UK wears uniform, which is good because it keeps a sense of equality. In the States - only private schools wear them, right? So, act like you're going to a private school, and be proud to rep your school!

I like the idea of uniforms for private and public schools. Since my children are HOME SCHOOLED (as this category suggests) we have no uniforms. In fact, some days we call "pajama day" if it is earned.

My daughter goes to Heritage Christian School. I like uniforms because it cuts the cost down on a whole new wordrobe, and you don't have to think about what to wear that day, or if susie has this name brand, and I don't, or worry about immodest clothing. Lots of good about uniforms.
