Now this is a question that is completely subject to personal opinion. One man's vacation an be another man's nightmare. Personally I like to got to the desert. I like Parker, AZ. It is just south of Lake Havasu and is great if you like water sports and if you have kids. One other factor to consider is how far you are willing to drive from home or how much you are willing to spend. If you live anywhere near Parker, you can have a great getaway for not a lot of money. This is just my personal opinion.
