How can I stop a problem that keeps happening in the game, where you start a skirmish game, and after about 20 seconds the player (me) auto destructs and everything blows up without me even touching the surrender button?

Check to see if their is a task or item that if reached first can end the game. Never had that happen to me maybe it's a defect.

Try adding a latest patch that can be found online at the EA games website (huge).
Make sure there are actually other teams on the map. Or try a new map. This has happened to me if I am not playing anyone.

I had this problem with that game a couple of years ago. I think you need to patch it. Go to www.ea.com and download the latest update.

u r running a cracked ver.
and the app. detects that, so try to replace ur crack
or even try to buy it
