Is it okay for someone who has never experienced something to judge those who have?

Example:
A non pot smoker saying it is harmful and bad.
Depression is bearable and curable.
Poor people need to pull their head out of their *** and get a job.

Maybe they have their lives pulled together, and they know what they ae talking about, but can you really say until you been there?

Contrary to your belief there are a lot of marijuana users that hold down steady and even high paying jobs. A lot of them are ex hippies that never shook the habit but have held down office jobs since they got out of college. I feel that with substance abuse testing they are singled out to not get jobs that they are more than capable of doing.

Here's a case and point. Up until about a month ago I was a user myself. I have held the same job for nine years in a technical field and have done well in it. The only reason why I quit is because my new girlfriend doesn't do it and I don't like being high around her so I gave it up.

Another case and point, alcohol can do the same thing you mention as far as being too lazy to get a job and not having any ambition to get their lives together but I don't see you passing any judgment on them probably because alcohol is legal. That's about the only difference.

I remember as a young person, judging the other girls. As long as I could see something someone else was doing wrong that I wasn't, I could consider myself a "good girl". As I got older I had to keep extending the bar in order to consider myself still a "good girl".

People who judge are saying "I would never do that" but there comes a day they even do worse. We must judge our own life's according to the life of Jesus and we are all found lacking, and can't throw the first stone.

Its ok to judge only if you have been there, and deep in there.

That is why teachers can judge your academic performance. Because they know(theoretically) a lot about the subject.

On the other hand, since every situation is different, nobody can say "i've been there", because it is not exactly true.

there are a large style of issues that individuals do this look somewhat detrimental; yet very frequently everyone of their concern may do the very similar project. which could be someone who receives divorced, someone who has a weight difficulty because he lives lower than rigidity that makes his body favor more suitable nutrition, someone who continues to be in undesirable courting, someone who would not do their homework, etc. etc. a number of those issues can look incorrect, and ought to, surely, be incorrect; even if the fellow ought to correctly be in a topic the position he has no determination yet to do inspite of it really is he's doing. those are the failings that are more suitable about a commonly respectable human being who's doing something which couldn't proper, ought to damage himself more suitable than it hurts everyone else (yet even it hurts some different person it isn't his purpose). commonly, those are issues about how someone lives - as long as he's not doing something unlawful or deliberately hurting everyone else. Then there is sparkling excellent and incorrect. deliberately hurting others (or animals) is in basic terms incorrect. there is by no skill an excuse. Stealing or doing different unlawful issues are incorrect. those issues ought to correctly be the project that makes someone bypass over from being an extremely respectable human being who isn't proper into being someone who has no integrity, would not abide by skill of the rules, and has no judgment of excellent and incorrect. for my area, its style of a count of no matter if someone tries to do what's great and frequently does or no matter if someone has an immoral dismiss for others and/or the regulation. i imagine, too, there's a aspect the position even the fellow who did not imagine he'd damage everyone else (like, say, an alcoholic or drug addict) keeps it up and keeps it up even even as he's conscious how a lot he has damage his loved ones) in basic terms keeps on doing what he's doing besides - and then, i assume, perhaps a touch judgment is justified. there is something very excellent about preserving, "do not decide," yet inspite of the actuality that, there is also something incorrect even as people imagine they can in basic terms bypass round, damage people, and frequently do inspite of they experience like doing with out obstacles with out being considered because the "a's" they're.

to judge someone else whether or not you think you know what they are going through is never okay. It's hard to not judge, don't get me wrong, but we shouldn't do it. It's not our job to judge others.

Yes, it's ok, based on the examples you gave. They may not have personal experience to speak from, but they can speak from the experience of other people. Much of that experience is called "research".

It is not okay to judge if you have never been in that situation. You can give opinions but do not judge.

Never......I am not the one to judge anyone and neither are you. That job is reserved for HIM. When the time comes HE will do it in HIS own way. As far as everyday mundane life, live and let live.....make believe you have blinders on.....
Speak no evil,
See no evil,
Hear no evil.........

Some things you can evaluate second or third-hand, some things you can't. It depends solely on the circumstances.
