I know we are not all like this i hope not atleast but every one of my family reunions and get togethers all my family, friends, classmates, and teachers do is make fun of christians and catholics, my uncle is a movie producer/writer and he laughs and braggs how he is brainwashing people to hate christians as well, i am wondering if all jews were like this, my rabbi even said christians and catholics are being brainwashed every day by fellow jews in hollywood, i am getting real embarresed about this and i want to switch religions. thanks

TO YASCONSO......my family that has nothing to do with hollywood what soever they live 400 miles away from us get money from hollywood every year...thats a true statement!

i have heard alot about this my best friend was jewish and he said the same stuff he said how his parents were always telling him to pretend to like christians and catholics, and he told me they said they loved to use the media to brainwash them, and they said christians were there puppets on little strings, i think your doing the right thing man...good luck

I think the Jews have a lot to be angry about with Christians. Let's face it, the track record of how we treated you is not very good. We have made numerous false claims about the Jewish religion and persecuted you through most of the last 2000 years. The Catholic church has been especially cruel during the Crusades and the Inquisition. So I don't blame your friends and relatives for bashing us.
I don't want you to abandon your faith because of what you see on their part. Judaism is a living testament to the promises of G-d toward your people. (I hope I did that properly so as to not offend.) Not knowing what, if anything, you would switch to, I would suggest seeking out fellow Jews who have overcome the past and are working quite harmoniously with Christians. In spite of our differences, we have found great common ground, including the defense of Israel and coming together in plans to rebuild the Temple! An evangelical Christian is even working with the Rabbinical Council to breed ritually pure cattle for the dedication sacrifice. With time and effort, you might be able to show your friends and relatives that many Christians are not their enemy and there is no need to hate us anymore.

I'm not a Jew but I greatly respect your heritage. Ugliness exists in all cultures and in certain aspects all religions. This is a glaring example of a deficiency in character. I know this same thing happens on the other side of the fence and it is just as ugly.
My advice would be not to switch your "religion" just because you see people being foolish. Your faith in God and whether Jesus was the true Messiah should come as a result of prayer and seeking God truth. If you are truly open to this then you will see that truth for yourself.
As you read the law and the prophets, be open to Isaiah and Daniel and see if Jesus really fulfilled the prophecy of who the Messiah would be.

I am a Christian, and I love Israel and the Jewish people. With out the Jewish faith, Christianity wouldn't exist.
The Bible says to bless the Jewish people with what ever they need, and to pray for the peace of Jersalem...
I believe that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah for all people. He fufilled hundreds of Torrah(Old Testament) profecies of the Messiah... That is why I believe.
I believe that Christianity is part 2 of the Jewish faith...
THe whole world is full of anti semetic people, raccist people and terrorist. the Quran teaches Muslims to hate Jews and Christians...
The Bible says to love one another... God said that He would bless those that bless Israel and curse those that curse Her...

You don't have to switch religions... have you ever heard of Messianic Jews? THey are Christian Jews, they follow all of the celebrations and things that Jewish people practice, but they believe that Jesus is the Messiah...
The Jew's closest friend should be the Christian, Jesus was Jewish and so were His early followers...
I am not the only Christian that believes this way, there are many like me...
If there is a Christian that doesn't like the Jewish people, than he sins against God... Most Catholics started this anti semetism and it is their wrong, many still falsely believe this today...

if a convicted fellon is charged with a crime, but has lived as a good citizen from that point on, will a good rightious judge let the fellon go? No of course not. If a man comes to pay for the fellons crime so that the ex-fellon can live and be with his family, then the judge will let him go- If the ex-fellon accepts the mans gift of mercy.
it is the same way with accepting Jesus, we are law breakers, we have sined against God, but He gave us mercy by putting the punishment upon Hisself, that If we accept His Son, we will be saved...
Christ came so that we may be saved and know God...

I had an ex boyfriend whos a jewish( an orthodox jew) He is SOO WEIRD with his silly ideas .. EVEN HIS FAMILY. I say jews are being brainwashed and even waiting for Jesus to come .. They already murdered JESUS a long time ago .. Even his family wont allow my ex boyfriend to marry me becz im not in the sight of as jewish mother.. so my children will not be jewish.. I think its soo silly about religion like that. I say to myself .. WHY GOD made me and all the colors of people on ths EARTH... I told him blunt.. he was speechless and couldnt find a word to fight me in this situation.. i told him that YOU LOVE ME and U CHASED me for 2 years to get me .. what is worth all of that FOR .. SO Jewish... is a werid religions and only whites are choosen people.. thats so wrong ! God loves us all ppl of colors peroid !

Help you out with what, exactly? You want to switch religions?
Even if it what you say is true, you would have to consider the crimes of everyone committed in the name of religion. To pick out jews only is, at best, naive. And if you want to get technical, also consider the crimes of those in the name of atheism.
Or heck, maybe you want to change species. Consider all the crimes of humans.

I'm not a jew - but a friend of mine is.
He's always had a hard time with some of the "Jews are superior" type of teachings - and now calls himself a "Jewbu" .... A Jew by ancestory, but more of a Buddhist by practice...
I dunno - works for him.
