I have heard it from so many sources, that some of it rings true. Yes many presidents have worked with unsavory characters for the greater good of America, but at what cost? Sam Giancana (mafia don) was mixed in deep with the kennedies and we all see what happened in Dallas. I'm sorry if thinking is supporting a conspiracy theory, but i like to think i stand for some things and cant be easily fooled. If you dont stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

I just read this browsing the National Security Archive. I believe they're a credible source but who knows. It's not a conspiracy when you have hard facts on documents and witnesses to the situation. I could be wrong though. I'm sure you guys think you're government loves you, but i tend to do somethings stupid i like to call thinking.

ok once you all stop using conspiracy sites you'll learn more truth. HOWEVER most presidents have in the past been linked to a less than reputable organization, this is often done to eliminate a bigger threat, ie carter's supporting the taliban in it's fight against the soviets, regan surpporting the contra's in their fight against a greater evil. it is a case of choosing the lesser of two evils in order to eliminate the greater evil, however the link to reagan and the crack distribution is false, the distribution of the crack was an unfortunate event that was not percieved, now stop reading conspiracy sites.

Noriega was; that's why he's in jail. (Although it is not at all clear to me that the US had proper jurisdiction to prosecute him.) As for the others, any connection to drugs was subsidary to the considerabley more important issues dealing with Communist infiltration of the area.
