It has grown really bad over the past 5-6 years or so. I am often in a store or park or whatever and only hear Spanish. I am so tired of it. Is why I joined the minutemen. You can't live in Texas and have a problem with Hispanics, but this is my country, and I don't want to seem like I am in Mexico when I walk out my door either.

c'mon tell us what really happened, there was one mexican flag and you got offended, right?
Anyway maybe there is something wrong with the picture to you. All i hear is that people are getting together and celebrating independence. Maybe these people are proud of their heritage? If someone holds up an american flag, you wouldn't flinch, maybe these people were born in mexico, but came here because they love it. Don't nock anyone for being proud of their heritage. These are hard working people. Also they are celebrating, would you rather have a bunch of american flags and a riot? would that make you happy?
Anyway what i suggest that you should of done is........1. stop being colorblind, red, white, blue, green, red, whatever celebrating is all the same 2. Why don't you take advantage of the great mexican food that they have to offer and party down?
3. take stick out of butt.
c'mon dude this country has come a long way. And you know what? Ethnical diversity is what makes this country great, there is freedom so poeple can be proud of where they came from.
Don't take us back to the confederacy dog!

That is weird on the 4th of July. We have a large Mexican population in California and they seemed to think stars and stripes were suitable for the 4th of July. Now on the 5th of May, I might wave a Mexican flag myself, for the party spirit....

Think about it sweetie,,,, TEXAS IS A HUGE STATE,, the majority is Hispanic, since the last census.. as far as 4Th of July..... Some Hispanics are also born in the USA too,,, and maybe they are expressing pride for their heritage. If you don't see sense in that, then I suggest you move somewhere else where the majority are WHITE and not Hispanics (or MEXICANS, as the ignorant people call all Hispanics) Again,, let me refresh your memory,, TEXAS IS A HISPANICS MAJORITY STATE.. Get that? OK just making sure! PLUS,, Texas was once a part of Mexico and TEXAS is a Mexico and USA border state. Same goes for California. Sorry to bust you WHITE bubble. FYI, I am not Mexican, so don't think I am letting you know this info because of that.

You, like most, are being brainwashed into thinking that America is better then Mexico. That your State is better then the one beside yours, that your school is better then the one up the road. It is nothing but nonsense created to distract you from the truth. 90% of us are slaves. So go ahead a be upset that another flag was being shown on July 4th - that's exactly what your suppose to do - now get back to work worker ant.

majority rules
if there are more people that want to wave a Mexican flag than there are people who want to wave an American flag, then the Mexican flag wavers will win.
Otherwise, we'd all be having native american day on the 4th of July.

Yep, that's how it is now. You should see how they act during our pow-wows. They will purposefully BLAST that god-awful noise they call music (personally I think my farts sounds better then Mexican music, but that's just a personal opinion) as loud as they can during the parades just to interrupt us as much as they can. Rude, rude, rude.
If I had my way, I would ban ALL illegals from the rez, but knowing how Washington State acts towards us (they sued the Yakama Nation for banning alcohol on the rez, even though they let a College Place, a mostly white, Christian town ban it, no problem. Gotta keep the Natives drunk, wouldn't want them to succeed in life, would we Washington State?), it would probably try to sue us, even though it has no legal standing to do so.

They did get attention, but the wrong kind, and I think they know it. It made so many people mad including Mexican Americans.
These illegals are being led around by their nose by left wing Latino activists who want to reclaim our land as theirs. Read up on the real goals of La Raza and Mecha and you will find out what is really going on.,

Well apparently in Houston, Mexicans are a majority.
We had a street festival here and I saw many Mexicans, myself included.
But I DID NOT see any Mexican flags, to the contrary I saw American flags being waved, every city has its own way, if you don't like that many Mexicans live in Houston, then perhaps you should move?
