I used Not to get along with her when I was married to her son but since we've split- me and her get along just fine now.

I love my mother in law, she is very thoughtful and supportive and when my husband is being a jerk she doesn't defend him, she will call him on it.

Yes, I've never met her, she lives in a foreign country and she does not speak or understand English. We have a great relationship.

At first we didn't, but after my son was born we did.(With an occasional argument in between, lol.) She does drive me crazy though.

Not really, she thinks her son deserves better but she should be thankful I put up with his crap.
