Yes I would. Providing that my own health was not going to suffer I would help another to enjoy their health and life. Why not.

Yes - Yes - and Yes.
Why not? I have two and both are perfectly healthy at this moment. You can survive very well with one perfectly healthy functioning kidney.
If I could help someone else to be healthy why shouldn't I?
I only have one regret, I have myethenia gravis and I'm not even allowed to donate blood, which I used to do regularly. I was close to a gallon when I had to quit.
I hope you find a kidney for your daughter soon. She's a very lucky person to have parents like yourselves.
Good luck and I will pray for you and your daughter, that she may find a donor and that the transplant will be a success and that she and her donor may live long and prosperous lives.

A family member or friend - yes
A stranger - I want to say I would but I would need to think that over for a long time

yes to all...my boyfriend makes fun of me, he says "what if you donate a kidney to a stranger and your other one fails?" I would try to do as much as possible to help anyone in need (as long as they are really in need, and I think needing an organ is being in need)

In a heart beat! Upon my death, I have a donar card. Use what parts that may help others as at that point I have no further use of them. But if donating a kidney would help someone now, I'd gladly give one up.

To a family member definitely. A Friend I don't know for sure, I think I would if it was life or death for them. A stranger I don't think I could.

Family, absolutely, if there was no other hope, or the waiting list was long. The only total stranger I'd donate to is Steven Cojocaru.
