I prayed to God, every day, for almost 2 years, for help and understanding. I never seen any evidence of God's exiastence at all. No apparition. no vision. no answers. No sign of any kind. Still depressed as ever. So some people say, "God sometimes says NO" Why would God say no to someone asking for help?
Because it is all fake, just like Satna Claus, Tooth Fairy, and wishing on stars.

Yes, the humidity/temp differential from the bath made the mist cloud, and the pressure difference that would cause wind. You wanted to see something (thus praying) and your mind bent the image. Your mind tricked you into feeling better, that is what you think the praying would do, and you thought it had been answered. The mind is a powerful thing, and can bend the senses.

i would most likely say that if this person passed away, then they were just trying to put you at peace b/c they must have been at peace themselves. but then if they didn't pass away, they still must have wanted to put you at some level of peace or to just let you know that everything was or was going to be ok. you must have had some impact on their life b/c someone or something was clearly trying to comfort you. I'm sure that your questions will be answered over time. don't try to rush things. sometimes you just have to have faith and believe that everything will fall into place. I'm going to suggest that you keep praying. you may even want to try meditation. it really clears your mind and helps you focus your thoughts for the better.

You have connected with the world of spirit.
We are all spiritual beings. We are also human beings.
In the world of spirit there is great peace and serenity. There is no pain or sorrow, only joy and love.
Consider yourself fortunate because many people meditate (pray) for years in the hopes of experiencing this heavenly place.
Spirit is where you get your intuition from, your great ideas. Spiritual masters like Jesus, Buddha and Muhammad were in constant contact with spirit.
There is nothing to fear.

Hmmm, I would certainly continue to pray about this. This could be explosive for you. If you begin to believe it was the persons spirit, then you will take a tiny step forward into believing such things and may open the door into something you don't want. I would prefer you just open your mind and heart to believe that it perhaps was an angelic presence or the Holy Spirit Himself there to comfort you or there to manifest Himself to you. Be careful with this. You're dealing with the unseen. Be very careful how you choose to believe what it was.

You were praying. You saw an "image". You felt a sense of peace.
So far so good.
If you can't leave well enough alone, you might want to find out if the person has, indeed, passed on.
Whatever, what I would make out of it is that God answered your prayer with peace. Don't let go of it!!

Who passed away? In the Chinese culture, after someone dies, they light a candle and then carry it through the house wherever they have gone, and when you reach a room, stop for a few seconds to reflect on good times with this person. And think of some funny times that has happened in this room. It worked when my dog died, and my grandmother. It makes you remember, "I hope they're having a good time in heaven.

The spiritual world is just as real as the physical world. There is a cosmic battle for the souls of men and you are no exception.
As you pray, ask God to reveal His truth to your heart and earnestly listen for a response. It may not come immediately but it will come. The way you respond to that truth will be the most important decision you will ever make.

It sounds like God has tapped you on the shoulder to be the next prophet. You should get a big cardboard sign that says "Jesus Saves" and go stand in Union Square in NYC and make people repent.
Don't ASK them to repent, MAKE them repent. This is key. It is God's will. Good luck and may the God be with you young Jedi!

I would call it an epiphany, you can have them without praying. You were just in deep reflection, or meditation and you came to a realization. You put your mind at ease.
I've had em and I'm an Atheist
