make sure he has plenty of cold water to drink and a cool place to lie. Try sponging hiim down with a damp towel around his tummy and pads.
If he is still a bit under the weather in 48hrs ring the vet for further advice.

Poor Frankey is suffering from the heat along with all the other dogs mine included. Mine are off their food and just lie around .

The best thing is not to walk in the middle of the day go early morning before it gets to hot or in the evening when it's cooled down. Also feed late when it's started to cool have plenty of fresh cool water available and let him find a shady spot.

My Amber's nose is hot too in this weather and I hope you are remembering to put sun block on Frankies nose so he doesn't get sunburnt, fill a old spray bottle with water and put it in the fridge to get cold and spray Frankie about every half hour to cool him down a bit, but not round his ears cause you don't want water in his ears as it causes infection, I use an ice block too (the sort you use in cool bags) to rub over Ambers fur, I also put t'towels in the freezer for 5 mins to cool then put them over her, how awful is this hot weather for us, I so feel for dogs having those big woolly coats on don't you, hope any of this helps.

Yes the dog is suffering. If you really loved the animal you would have it destroyed immediately.
