Last week I decided to piss on a bible, burn it and then ask the pagan god Baal to help me win money in online poker by doing a candle ritual. That same night, I won over $500!!! Is this a sign that we are all on the wrong track?!

Which Baal? There are several- far as I can tell it means Lord in Canaanite. Baal Haddad is a trickster god of sorts and would probably think your actions were pretty funny. The whole pantheon might, actually. The myths are best read with a decided sense of irreverence. (most problems can be solved if you have naked, dancing women, or a big sword.)

Do any of you even know who Baal is? I think he'd be pretty delighted at the actions Ico~ described. He probably rolled over in his pagan god grave just to throw you a bone for the enjoyment he got out of how disrespectful you were to those Jews who stole his followers from him and made him into a monster when he was really such a nice god.

Oh boy is Karma gonna get you. It is wrong and disrepectful to do that to a symbol of someone elses faith.
And yes I'm aware that you are probably making this up just to get a rise out of people for you're own personal enjoyment. That or you're just trying to make Pagans look bad....

I may not be Christian anymore, but desicration of any holy text, object, or place no matter who helps you is wrong. To answer your question, no it just means you need psychological help that's all.
