do you mean that u want to be like a counselor or something for domestic violence victims i mean if this is the case then u need to go to college for therapy courses and then talk to some local domestic abuse shelters i mean they are always looking for help and there are counseling centers for the domestically abused. you could be a therapist at one of them i go to see one all the time and when i get my issues worked out i would love to be one also seeing as that i have been through all of it i can know how people really feel not just from what i learned in college.

Don't really understand the ?
They teach classes involving DV in Paralegal programs and Law school. Usually it is part of a Family Law class for paralegals. Not sure about law school.
I am sure they teach it in criminal justice classes.
Or do you mean protection from domestic violence?
I do not think that you can get a degree on that field by itself.

The closest I think you could come to that would be a degree in Criminal Justice. Domestic Violence to my knowledge is not a college curriculumn.

First, get a degree on english.
Then get a psychology degree, I think thats the most similar to what you want. Back that up with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Move to a trailer-park and find a boyfriend with no job, low self-esteem, and a drinking problem.
Much quicker and cheaper than college... although the 'classes' aren't really that fun.

you will need to have a masters degree in phsycology and a long internship with many supervised hours. Women need help because there are a lot of abusers out there.

Go to your nearest college and speak with the guidance counselor. They can advise you of what subjects you would need to take or if their college doesn't offer it, what other college does, where and how you could get information from them.
