what is the first thing you need to do and what are the whole precedure in getting your identity stolen from you and someone ran your credit up to at least 2000 to 3000 dollars please help

1. Cancel all your crdit cards, immediately
2. File reports with all three credit bureaus
3. File a police report and carry a copy of it with you at all times for at least 5 yeras.
I'm serious! This hppened to me. The only thing that prevented me from going to jail was that report!!

Report it to the police,whenever you get the police report take it with any other documents that you have to the DMV, then you will be on your way.
