I can hold about 200 pictures in my 512 MB card with a 6.0 megapixel camera, obviously more pics if you lower the resolution.

It depends not only on your mega pixels for your camera, but the average file size you are saving. For a 5 mp camera, the fine setting could be average file size of 7.2mb while the economy setting could be average of 3.2mb. At the former you could expect about 80 images at the latter it would be more like 140 images.

This is based on raw images so if your camera also has some compression options these figures could vary.

Mine holds up to almost 400 and I have a 10 Meg pix. It also depends on what you set your camera settings at. If you set it to take the nicest photos, it will hold less b/c their are more pixels.

That will be depending on what setting you prefer in your camera. As there are RAW, FINE, BASIC, tat is base on my Nikon camera. You can take more photo if you set on basic. As for RAW and fine each photo eat up more memories. But if you enlarge it, it will be more pretty than basic. Bottom line is which setting you like. Check your manual it will try u lots of info.
