i too have naturally dark brown hair and have been every color in the book (except black): blonde, red, blue , orange, light brown, etc. i also tend to watch a lot of beaty tv shows. something that i've noticed consistent with what the "experts" on the shows say is that if you're trying to lighten dark hair, the color result you're expecting usually won't be acheived with the first application. it usually takes 3 applications to get the result you're hoping for. another thing to consider is all the colors your hair goes though to get lightened: it starts dark brown, to med brown, red, orange then to blonde. this is why some people get the "brassy" copper penny look when they try to go blonde, it's because they didn't leave the developer on long enough.
my opinion, go ahead and color you hair again with the same color. there is no use getting upset over something so minor as hair color. then, if after the second treatment, you see no change, then try something else in about a week. but i think you will find that the second time around, you'll be surprised that it got that much closer to what you want.

no, don't do it today your hair can fall is it's not that strong to take all that chemicals....
wait about a week to be safe and you can use the same color but use a 20 or 30 developer to get it lighter,
and if you are using dye from the box well you need to get a lighter hair color because chances are it wont change at all.

I have been dyeing my hair for many, many years and I still have it lol So you don't have to worry about that, Ma bey just a day or so. If you want to try a lighter hair color it may work but you can also get this kit that is specially made to go to blond, I cant remember for the life of me right now, but if I can find it I will let you know.

i think that u should buy a lighter color than before because putting the same color back makes no sense, i just brightens it up. and wait until about 3-4 months to put it. if u put it right away it can damage your hair or u may loose some of it. because too much chemicals in the hair may not be good

Get a lighter color, and look at what that color would do to your current color. Wait about a week, otherwise you could send your hair into shock. Sometimes, if not careful, women will stress their hair out and it will take years to fix.

You shouldnt die your hair again just yet.... let the color sit in for some time.. ( a week maybe) if you still dont like it then you can change it... but normally the sun lightens the color of your hair... so wait and see!

Use a lighter color, but do not tint again until you have conditioned your hair with a really product like Redken. Wait at least 72 hours after you condition to retint.

It shouldnt be a problem. However you need to get a blonding thing. Not just blonde hair dye. You should be fine doing it today. Just make sure you use conditioner, and put a small amount of conditioner in your hair after you wash it, and leave it in to keep your hair soft.

Don't dye it again for at least six weeks. Since you just did it yesterday its going to look a little darker. Give it some time and wash it everyday and it'll lighten up. You're going to ruin your hair if you do it again today.
