I take it this woman is not your wife or in any situation where she lives with you and your child. I don't get how she can "make you decide" What did she threaten you with? Was this a particularly special occasion for her? Or just some random night?
I'd say if it was just some random night, and she did threaten you with something (or some action), then I'd say it's pretty safe to say that's was either very needy, or very selfish(the morally wrong issue probably depends on which one it was). If this is looking like a personality trait, rather than a one time episode, you may want to rethink the relationship.

I may not be a matter of morals, but it's certainly a question of self-centeredness. Good for you. Keep the kid and ditch the woman.

NO! she is probably just jealous of the time you spend with your child.
