We've been in end times (last days) since Christ first appeared on Earth. He was part of the prophecy.
"but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe." Hebrews 1:2
"'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." Acts 2:17

The only reason why you perceive prophecy being fulfilled is because you interpret Biblical passages loosely enough that you can force fit them into any time period and state, "Look there, a fulfillment of prophecy". The truth is much of the prophetic statements in the Bible, that have been commandeered to apply to a particular event, are really only meant to describe the social predicament of the time period in which that prophet lived.
This whole nonsense about the Rapture, and the Tribulation period is the result of gross misinterpretation of scriptures that stem from imaginative minds who seek to make money off of the credulous.
Faith should be more than people looking at the Bible as if it were some crystal ball into the future. Unfortunately with the rise of televangelists, and popular Christian novels, our faith has been reduced to a B-Rated apocalyptic movie.

they're too open to distinctive interpretations. as an occasion: the lads who wrote the Bible, and the Council of Nicaea, which desperate to % the classic writings which may well be hailed as God's eternal certainty, theory stars have been small. So there is the passage in Rev 12:4, the place that's foretold that one-0.33 of the seen stars would be solid right down to the exterior of the Earth. With sufficient space left over for a collection of different stuff to take place. And for the centuries following the Council, preachers taught that the words on the internet site meant precisely what they suggested. God's eternal and unchanging certainty!! yet, as quickly as the celebrities have been chanced directly to be so massive that all and sundry of them could wreck the comprehensive planet, the coaching of this boundless certainty grow to get replaced. The words on the internet site now not mean what they say. they're now concerning something never on the subject remember of those extensive nuclear furnaces. Now, good old Harold camping out did an quite severe and very Scriptural prediction. Epic fail. Follwed by using a corrected prediction of the start of end cases. 2d fail. Fifty printed predictions, one and all shown incorrect, in simple terms by using the reality that the planet continues to be right here. study 'em and snicker.

It is proof that while God may have endowed humans with free will, they choose not to exercise it, by instead using apocalyptic visions as a SCRIPT, a template upon which to aim the goals of Western civilisation. Because if prophecy is NOT fulfilled, they would lose faith in what they were taught all their lives. And possibly question other aspects of their religion as well.
Policymakers would rather sacrifice the future of everyone than have have them question their beliefs. Plus failing to do so would place their grip on power in jeopardy.

Yeah, I just got my mark of the beast. It is soooo cool, and when he comes out I am totally going to have a coming out party for him. Matthew 7:15 foretold of all of this.

The end of times has not come yet. Even if you see the situation in Israel as the first horseman of the Apoclypse, you're still missing the antichrist.

Yes. It is even better knowing these signs - otherwise, like so many non-believers, I might actually be afraid of these times.
