there is no Biblical evidence that she was a prostitute. This started by an error spoken by a Catholic pope many centuries later.

She was not a prostitute. Do you realize how many women are named Mary in the Bible? It gets confusing. Mary Magdalene is mentioned in each of the four gospels in the New Testament, but not once does it mention that she was a prostitute or a sinner. At some point Mary Magdalene became confused with two other women in the Bible: Mary, the sister of Martha and the unnamed sinner from Luke's gospel (7:36-50) both of whom wash Jesus' feet with their hair. In the 6th Century, Pope Gregory the Great made this assumption official by declaring in a sermon that these three characters were actually the same person: Mary Magdalene, Repentant Saint. After several centuries, the reputation still lingers. Three decades ago, in 1969, the Roman Catholic Church quietly admitted what critics had been saying for centuries: Magdalene's standard image as a reformed prostitute is not supported by the text of the Bible. After several centuries, the reputation still lingers.

Nowhere in the Scripture will you find it recorded that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute. Being that her hometown was Magdala, which was known for its production in textiles for the Roman Empire, and that she had an very expensive jar of perfume which she anointed Jesus, it can be accurately concluded that this Mary was an upscale woman of reputable standing. It was the women disciples Scripture says were main contributors to the finances to support Jesus' ministry. She also traveled alot which was costly. Church history claims she finally settled in Europe near the hub of the Empire. She was not married to Jesus, either. If the Church is the Bride of Christ and Jesus was already married, that would make Jesus a bigamist, and at the most, an adulterer at the marriage supper of the lamb. Totally unacceptable and unsupported by the bible. Put Dan Brown down and pick up your Bible for the true conclusions.

Jesus did not sin the whole time He was here on this earth . As a matter of fact , He came to save that which was lost and bring them to repentance . He forgave Mary Magdalene for her sins and told her to sin no more . You've been watching too much T.V. 2nd Peter 3:16
Be careful what you say , by your idle words you will be judged . Matthew 12:36-37

Catholic tradition says she was a prostitute. Jesus did not marry her but, of course, "The Davinci Code" says otherwise (fiction book, not fact). He may have loved her but there was never a romance. As long as you are sorry for fornicating and stuff and don't do it again, I think Jesus will understand you made mistakes and now are becoming a better person.

the bible doesn't actually say that the women at the well (who had seven husbands and was currently shacking up with a guy) was mary magdalene, that is just catholic tradition, it has no scriptual backing. and we are all held accountable for our actions...

first of all...Jesus won't blame you for anything you have done because he already knows you've done it and he has forgiven you...you just have to aknowledge his forgiveness toward you and love him back the way he loves you to receive salvation...second of all he was never in any kind of sexual relationship with anyone...that would be like a father sleeping with his child...that would be sin and He has never sinned... think about this in your alone time...

But unfortunately for you, Jesus wasn't married. There's no real evidence supporting that.
