When I was little I remember being a bunny rabbit, Jasmine from Aladdin, a Jester, a witch, a girl vampire, a princess, a black cat. I think that was the cutest of all. I got a black leotard with some black tights and I wore black tennis shoes. Then I got a black headband with cat ears on them and then I got that spray that you can spray on your hair to change it colors temporarily (It will come off when you wash your hair easily) And painted my face like a cat. If she is into soccer she could go as a soccer player. She could also go as a devil, Wonder Woman, Barbie, 80's punk rocker, a lady bug, angel. Below is a great site that has a lot of different costumes and how you can make them yourself. :)

My daughter has long gone past the girly girl stage. Last year she was Hermione from Harry Potter for a school party and was a pirate for trick or treating. Two years ago, she was a cowgirl. This year she already has her costume planned (never to early to plan, apparently) and she is going as a "FearLeader", which is some sort of gothy looking black and white with skull and crossbone uniform, with converse tennis shoes, striped knee socks, and leather studded bracelets. Other ideas she has thought of are Corpse Bride, Willie Wonka himself and or a ninja. I guess it depends on your girl, since not all of them want to be Disney Princesses.

I see hundreds of costumes a year. Some of the best are the ones that are homemade out of boxes and such. Someone was a breakfast table with cheap dishes glued to their boxes. I also love the fruit one where you attach ballons in the correct color. Other than that, whatever girls they like on tv. Good luck!

When I was younger I remember being two things in particular...
a witch and also I was Jasmine (from Aladdin). The Jasmine costume was cute, but these current halloween costumes are not cute to me...I cannot stand Cinderella.

My daughter is going as a tornado this year.
She could go as a picnic, just get a picinic blanket, plastic food, and plastic ants. Or as laundry, all you need is some suspenders, a laundry basket with the bottom cut out, and clothing in the basket.
