Does anyone know how to look into timeshare presentations where they give you a good deal just to listen for 1-1/2 hrs?

The timeshare thing is a bit of a scam and basically you don't really save on airfare, even if they claim they did. What the timeshare thing saves you on, supposedly, is the lodging. And they really put the pressure on you big time. The famous question is "What is holding you back from buying this timeshare?" Another is "If I can show you how you could afford this, would you buy the timeshare?" The travel time involved, especially if you are not a west coaster, really does prohibit any serious timeshare ownership.
Please spare yourself some grief and go to a travel agent. They do not work on commission (things have really changed) and they generally can find you the best deals. I am just back from Maui (8 days there) and I actually paid less than a guy who did the timeshare thing (and he only got five days), and I did a ton more than he did. Travel agent, that's the ticket.

Day after Easter (last week in March - 2nd week in June airfares & hotel rated decrease. Sept. - 2nd wk in Dec. rates also go down. Travel during offseason. Or go on last minute tickets or standby, (you must have a versitle schedule.) Some companies need people to deliver stuff or merchandise all over the world, I don't know how to contact them, but I know it exists.orl Put yourself in a box ,don't forget the oxygen tanks for 5-6 hrs. & have someone drop you off as cargo. Good luck, hope you don't run out of air, or I'll know when I read about it in the Hawaii newspapers. Then I'm going to say, Eh! I know that guy! I e-mailed him one time. I told him not to run out of air. Bummer!

Well, for timshares, you have to wait untill like next year or something to go on vacations. I always just prefer to buy airplane tickets about a month or two before i go. there's usually a lot of good deals. But if you want to listen to a presentation, try googling it or something. there's many many of them out there, and they sometimes even send you an invatation though the mail.

What this website does is search All the Airline websites (Delta, American, Continantal, Aloha, etc... plus checks the prices of Travelocity,Orbitz, Expedia, Hotels.com, CheapTickets, etc...

One click of the mouse and you check everyones prices.

Have saved as little as $5 on a flight and as much as $80

Go to funjet.com and look at last minute specials. They have cheap charter airfare, usually with American TransAir or small USA carrier.

Otherwise, try Southwest Airlines, they fly there now code-share with ATA.

Sometimes flight students need to log air time to get their license. See if any of them are going to Hawaii and see if you could chip in a bit to get a ride over there.
