Well, those that believe opposites attract would say that it's like a puzzle, it cannot be completed without all the parts coming together. You may find that you have more to talk about with each other because you draw from different experiences. Personally, I can't imagine how couples who don't have activities/likes in common manage. What on earth would you do for fun if your partner didn't like any of the same things you did? If I could not speak to my wife on the same level about work, the news, our children, I don't think it would last very long.
Just my 2 cents, your mileage may vary.

when they say the phrase that opposites attract they really do i mean there has to be some things that u have in common but with you both being opposite why not try some of the things that he likes and he try some of the things that you like and you never know u might decide that you really do like the same things i mean trying something different is always fun and can make life really interesting.

The most important thing is how you feel...are you happy with him? If neither of you are comprimizing your ethics and integrity...your probably in the clear. It is healthy to be two separate beings cohabitating and reaching for the stars together. What he may be lacking in certain areas you may be strong in and vise versa. He could be your soul mate or not it depends on what service this relationship is to you in your life. He may help you discover the real you to the depths of your soul. Sometimes challenge is the best remedy to spiritual fullfillment. I was in a relationship like this for three years. We were abosolutely opposites in tastes culture spiritual and later more. He had so much heart though and we enabled growth in one another. He challenged me to be a betta woman by putting up barriers. We faught and bickered every day but hey girlfriend he wasn't my mate only because there was too much comprimise of inner quality of self to make it peaceful between us. The best answer is truely what you see in you when you look in the mirror.

Its all natural. Think how boring it would be if you fell in love with someone that was exactly the same as you? Sometimes when you think of a question think of it from the opposite then you'll get a answer. But hey its up to you!

Well me and my boyfriend are exactly the same but i love everything about him, I mean its crazy but I think it makes a great relationship getter and opposites do attract and get along alot better, because they have different tastes and alot more variety than a couple who aggree on everything its alot more exciting than a agreeing couple if you notice correctly and when you get into arguments over what to eat, or what to watch then it gives more time for makeup if you know what I mean!

It is normal to fall in love with someone different. Life would be boring if we had to love people only like ourselves. What would you have to talk about. Don't worry enjoy the feeling of falling in love.

You guys are like magnets: opposites attract.
Its as simple as that. There doesn't have to be any explanation for love and you don't need to justify you and him being in love with each other. Hope both of you work out well!
