Look in the aisle near the pads and incontinence items for people. They sell the same freaking thing to put under people w/ bladder problems while they sleep, but they're 1/2 as much $$$ as the ones labeled for puppies. My dogs used those and they worked like a charm. I'd just move my dog to the pad if they started to "assume the position" and I knew getting them outside wasn't going to happen in time. I left one in the bedroom and one by the front door. I'd start with putting several together, then decreasing them as the dogs got more accurate. With the black lab, we had her going on the pads with accuracy after about a week and we had her going outside consistently after 3 weeks. Hope that helps. :)

of route each man or woman is going to have their own reviews. yet in my perspectives they're surely truly well worth the money. If the domestic dogs are already getting used to the paper they'll seize on to the pads very rapidly. the better section about the puppy pads is they don't leak through on your flooring, they have an underlayer of plastic like a diaper. compared to the newspaper, even as they pee and walk it rips ect. The puppy pads do not. It makes for an a lot less complicated freshen up in any case.

The ones made for humans don't have the same scent as the ones made for dogs. They are specifically scented to smell like the outdoors and the smell attracts the dogs to pee there.
I successfully house trained my whippets and I used pee pads as an aid. I kept them by the door to the outside when I wasn't home (if they weren't in a crate) and they would use them. If I was home then the pads weren't down. They should only be used as an aid in potty training and keeping your house clean...not as the only way to potty train.
My guys are adults now and know to hold it till they get outside so I don't need the pads anymore.

forget the piddle pads train the pup to go outside or if you really are not worried and want to continue to piddle in the house how about trying doggy litter box. No idea the cost or anythign like that as we always train pups to go outside never in the house our Cave. Only time we have ever used pads is during whelping and then we went for the human aisle and got the incontinence pads.
