Like the doctrine of original sin, the doctrine of predestination, as found in the New Testament, affirms that God is not just, not moral, and is actively evil and arbitrary. There is no grand moral plan to god's will. It makes no sense to say that this is the behaviour of a good god... but it explains a lot more if an evil god exists instead.

Most people worship the god of this world, and yes, that god is very evil. He is the ruler of this world. This world is his domain. He is the ruler of the underworld. It's sometimes called Hell or Hades. Others have called it Gehenna or Sheol. Still others have simply called it the "grave." You know, it's the place where the "worm never dies" or the "fires never go out." And it's a place of a lot of gnashing of the teeth. It is a place for the dead, the place where mankind (Adam) was entrapped after partaking of the knowledge of both good and evil. Adam is the firstborn son of God. Adam, being a son, is a god also, but at present is a dead god. Adam now dwells in the world of the dead where the inhabitants know nothing. All creatures in this world dwell in a world of illusion and delusion - mainly because a god sometimes referred to as The Great Deceiver rules it.

I have a tough time with the whole spirituality thing. I have been a Christian on and off for my whole life. And you bring up a good point. There is so much suffering and outright cruelty in the world. Horrible attrocities. An example would be babies being born with AIDS in a poor war torn country. Their only three years on Earth being misery. Seeing their family get killed by warlords. And then the baby dies a slow painful death because of disease or starvation at the age of three. Those scenarios occur all the time. What did that baby do to deserve that punishment? He didn't even get the chance to make his own decisions. Free will never came to him. A Christian would say that we are being punished because Adam and Eve turned away from God. And now we must pay the price as sinners. And the only way to be saved is through Jesus. But that becomes harder and harder to believe all the time. No JUST God would allow his creation to go through such misery. Especially those (like the baby) that didn't even get the chance to make their own decisions. And sometimes I think that if THAT God did exist, I am not so sure I would want to meet him.

We must organize the thought or we will fall in speculative conclusions. What is God? If you admit that God is the almighty creator that was not created, then everything is part of God. There are bad and good parts? No. We, human being, separate thing and good and bad. What really is good or bad? The answer is: depend on our conception in this space-time world. So, we cannot speak of evil as a god. What is written in Bible cannot be understand just as it is written, also someone says the contrary.

First of all IMO God is everything and everyone. There is no seperation between a good God and an evil God because good and evil is a rational observation and opinion that is all dependent on a point of view.

God is God and everything living and non living makes up the whole of God. without God nothing would exist not even God. Its all in one and one in all.

You're forgetting that predestination is balanced with free will. An evil God would leave us no options but to do his will. Simply because He knows what we will do with our choices does not mean that we aren't choosing. We can try to blame God for the things that are our own fault, or we can take responsiblity for our own actions. Either way, it's no skin off God's nose.

It is very easy to distort the Bible and take scripture out of context. It seems like you are very curious about Jesus in a sceptical way. You ask people who obviously love Jesus and don't think their religion is evil. I can tell you this much that things do have a natural order. My God does not do the "evil' things in this world. We all have free will. My personal opinion is that when people treat each other with disrespect and abuse it creates anger and hate. That anger and hate manifests itself in all kinds of atrocieties. It starts with the guy who cuts you off in traffic and goes on with people answering each other's questions with stfu. Think about a time when someone did something kind for you without being asked. Doesn't that make it easier for you to do the same for someone else? We all need someone to love and care for us no matter how independant we think we are. That is why God created love. To show us how much he loved us he gave us his only begotten son. Jesus spread his arms and died for us. He did it while he was spit on and mocked. No matter, he loved us that much. Every town you go to you will see a building in his honor, some towns one on every corner. But he mets us where we are. Whatever our agonies, or things we've done wrong, whatever our mistakes, he says " It is okay, I will make you new, I will forgive you, I love you unconditionaly. I know you don't believe in me and call me names and mock me, I still love you and I am waiting for the day you find me when you are ready." Keep asking your questions and I will keep praying for you to meet the strongest love you could ever experience.

You must first define where evil comes from or what evil even is. There is no efficient defintion of evil and I believe everything my God created was for good. People make things evil, not God.

God might be Evil, He might not be... if you want to find God, BURN the Bible! The Bible is human-made, it reflex the ages perspective of perfection... the Old Testament depicts a God that is mercy less, cruel, unkind and unfair... and much much more... If there is a God, He will not show himself to us, bcz if He would want to be worshiped He would not be perfect, but in the Bible it clearly states "Worship Me, Worship Me!!!" (I'm paraphrasing here)

My god is the God of the forest and woods, of Sacrifice for rebirth, and of the Harvest, He knows not evil, only the natural way, He knows love, and patience, and understands the ways of the earth, He compliments the mother, and gives himself, so that new life may come from him.

Not my god but still it is a neat quote.

Jonah 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them.
