This guy from work has been showing interest, but I didn't see anything in him. However, I decided to give him a chance when he asked me to go out to dinner. I thought that he would be a different person than he was inside of work, because most people are, but he was just as boring. I like guys who are exciting, who can make me laugh, and who I feel comfortable around at all times. This guy is not like that at all. All he talks about are cars and work. He asked me out again, but I told him I was busy. I want to get past excuses and simply tell him I don't like him, but I want to do it in a nice way and a way that won't make us working together uncomfortable. How do I do this? Please help.

Just be honest and tell him you don't like him like that. That is all you can do. You can not predict how he is going to take it. I hope when your done telling him there is no hard feelings, but if there is all you can do is avoid him right. This is why it is not smart to go out with people you work with.

Just let him know that you'd rather be friends and I'm sure he'll respect you for being honest. But make sure to still invite him to party's so he gets the whole friend thing. Otherwise he may still think of you as his girlfriend. Try to introduce him to someone new that way he gets that you're really over him. Good luck!!

Tell him exactly what you just explained. Simply tell him, 'I wasn't attracted to you but I thought I'd give it a shot but I'm not interested'. Then again, a second date might be just what he needs to open up. If it doesn't change after that, stick to the, 'I cheated on my bf to see you'. Build his confidence but let him down. Works everytime.

I say supply him achievable because such as you suggested he's a gentleman so he may take care of you excellent. And maximum gamers and skater boys and dudes like which couldn't look after you as a lot. So yeah in basic terms examine it out you may discover out that he may be the only for you !

Tell him that you're not interested. That's all you need to say. Keep it short and simple. Don't worry about hurting him. It's better to cause a little hurt now, versus having him riding high on a false hope and being destroyed later.

Use your job as an excuse. Say you are worried that one or the other of you would lose their job if you started seeing each other regularly.

Then take advantage of the hiatus to be very friendly with him, and tell him all about your other boyfriends, "knowing" that he will "understand."

Start conversations at work about having babies, settling down, mortgages and your dream of having a house husband - that should scare him, at least a little bit huh ??!
