Yes there is but only one Lord and creator of all, the rest are idols or gods that people create for themselves.

Absolutely . Hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God,
The Lord is One. The word "one" in the Hebrew is "Ehud" and this is translated as a plural singular, which means one comprised of component parts all complete in themselves yet all making one
Deuteronomy 6:4
Jesus claims to be one with the Father (John 10:30) "I and the Father are one."
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me."
Isaiah 48:16
We "see" God and His great salvation in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, then "experience" their reality by faith, through the indwelling presence of His Holy Spirit.

I figured I'd make it easy for future folks who decide to answer:
Isaiah 45:18 says:
"For this is what the LORD says—
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,
but formed it to be inhabited—
he says:
"I am the LORD,
and there is no other."
(hey - did you notice the last part??!)
AND as a BONUS: (for those who dispute Jesus is God...) Read Colossians 2:9 which states:
"For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,"
That's all folks!
God Bless.

Does the bible say that Mafia-style protection schemes are OK?
Please read 1 Samuel 11:7.
Must prove that the Catholics are right.

That commandment always confuses me. Does it mean that there are no other gods, or just that the Bible god should be worshiped as the high god and all other gods fall below him?
If it means that there is only one god why didn't he say I am the only God all others are false?

Don't have it handy, but isn't the first commandment something about having "no other gods before Me" That means there are other gods.

There's a Scripture that says, "ONE LORD, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is above all, through all, and in you all." That's a "yes" to me!
