Act responsibly.
And get a job to help make car payments.

you are too young to drive.

there is no place that is that important for a 16 year old to get to that you need your own car to get there.

stop trying to grow up so fast--

if your mom gets you a car, who is going to pay for the gas, maintainence, insurance, missed car payments, and ineveitable tickets that you will get? MOM?

to saddle your mom with these responsibilities is not being very responsible yourself---wait until you are 18 and have your own job--then maybe you and mom can work out a finiancial arrangement that would give you responsibiity and take some of the financial burden off of her.

the best things in life are those that are earned, not given.

Get a part time job after school. After Mom drives you back and forth for a couple of months; or your driving there and back under Mom's supervision. You can prove to her that you are a responsible driver; that your dedicated to your employer and that you've saved money to help pay for gas, maintenance and insurance. Once you've proved yourself to your mother and are responsible enough to uphold your obligation to take care of an automobile; she may then decide that you can get your own car; as long as your parents can afford to buy you one.

you really have to earn it....practice driving when you can, get a job to pay for gas, insurance, and offer to pay for half of the car. get an older car that is sturdy, made of metal not fiberglass. do well in school to prove you r responsible, and it will also make insurance go lower. talk with her and discuss safe driving habits and the rules of the road etc. and remember it is a privilage, not a right. good luck.

If she doesn't get you one why don't you get a job then you can make payments on a car. Then you can show her you are responsible and next time you want something maybe she will get it for you.

work for it and buy it yourself. what makes you think you deserve a car at your age. just focus on school and work to save one like normal hard working people.
