it wont take it is there something i can do about it says invalid.there are only 3 names i would use for my pass word .i dont even remember having one. also befor it ask for my password it says with windows file do i want to install PLEASE HELP

When you set up the PC, you should have been asked to type an administrator password. Username - Administrator, Password - What you typed at setup.

you will probably have to format or erase the version of windows you have now and then reinstall it. sometimes the back up disks don't work if they are trying to reinstall data already there, especially the main operating systems
