I am personally looking forward to learning German, because it is very interesting & also it has the same roots as English. It is also touted to be the future language of the EU, second to English.

Italian and/or Russian

Italian because I love how it sounds and because the Italian culture is fascinating. Also because I would really like to travel to Italy. Also because it has the same roots as Spanish, that is my native language and French that is the third one

Russian because my best friend comes from Russia and because I love that country

German sounds good too, still, all those things about Hitler and the Nazis made me hate the language

Sign Language, because the job I want requires it.

Isn't spanish the most important language next to english. Read the facts man, there are more spanish speaking people in the world than germans.

Well, I've been promising to learn Mandarin for the last 4 years. I've lived in China for 6 years and I'm still hopeless. I've begun to learn it, and I enjoy it, but really, to learn it well is a full time job, and I already have one of those. However, I'd really like to learn it because then my husband and I could speak to each other in a language no one else could understand when we travel. Now we use English in his country and French in the US or China when we want to speak privately in public, but you never know when someone else might speak those fairly popular languages. Mandarin is a little less likely.

French. It's very interesting and I want to visit France someday, so it would be helpful to learn the language.
I would also like to learn Spanish because that would be very useful for me in the future. I also have lots of Spanish friends and I want to know what they're saying when they talk to each other.
