Saddam Hussein was caught years ago, of course I don't mean him. I definetly mean Osama! And my question still stands why did it take so long to finally catch him?

"You're nuts! Osama Bin Laden has not been caught - I wish he had been...maybe my husband wouldn't been heading to Iraq for a year or maybe he'd come home sooner. "
Osama has been caught, but as Osama was caught in Afganistan, he may well be still going to iraq!!

It took so long because he was a stinky-slippery little bastard. When he was finally corraled in the caves of Afganistan, the troops had to toss kitty litter on him to absorb the grease, but they used quick-step cat litter and that helped take away the stinky terrorist smell. Some of the the soldier's were fortunate enough to have their military issue gas mask handy, but some were too slow to don the masks and were seen by credible Afgani witnesses, running from the cave and heaving half digested MRE's onto the dry, dusty Afganistan terrain. Once they got past the stench, they used plastic zip ties to secure him to his kidney dialysis machine. They removed man and machine as one unit, and placed them in a waiting humvee, and transported them to Kabul. He was then transported to Gitmo in a converted FedEx cargo plane, and awaits his fate at this time, while enjoying fresh water, Georgia peanuts and reruns of the "I Love Lucy" show on Armed Forces Television Network.
It was a pleasure to bring all of the YA gang up to date.
Stay tuned for tomorrows installment of
"Catching the Terrible Terrorist. Good-day!

We haven't caught him yet. BUT if you think about it, IF and when we do catch him the US will not have a political reason to be at war with the Taliban. It will also just serve to make him a martar and then we would have trouble with all the groups who want retaliation for his capture or murder. It is mainly strategic reasoning that he has not be caught yet....just think about it, it's actually a good thing.

Well, dummy, he's still on the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list, so I doubt we caught him. I believe you're thinking of Saddam Hussein.

Well, I do read the news, and have searched the news, and can't find any reference in any paper or news service that says he was caught.
So, your question assumes facts not in evidence. Can you provide a source for your assumption that he was caught?
