hello ur flesh and blood nobody should ever come before your kids not even yourself. a husband just helps u create them. children are unique.

Husband - in that he and you are the stability and the core of the family - you too will weather the kids' ages, moods (teenage) etc together and face empty nest together. The kids are equally important - but if the kids come before your marriage and husband they will use that (naturally) and you'll end up with a chasm between you and your life partner and kids that will grow up and have their own lives... and not have learned about love, respect for their spouses from you.

I'd say both are important in different ways, but the husband should be as equally concerned as his wife about the welfare of his kids above his own. A wife shouldn't have to be made to choose on any level, but should be able to work with her hubby to meet the needs of the family as a whole.

kids for definate. your husband is a man and can look after his own affairs..your children need there mum. i mean aint all mums the back bone of families. the ones that keep the family together in good and hard times. why the partner (supposidly) goes to work for the financial support. if you are lucky it happens this way! your children will appriciate your support.

Kids are more important. They need be able to depend on you. Adults can mangae themselves, but kids are helpless and innocent.

as long as you are in a good relationship where your husbant isn't an alcoholic....
no, no matter what they should be treated as equal. it is a difficult choice,,, who kneeds you more, your kid's studies will be over, your husbant can wait, he should never leave you otherwise he isn't worth it. while your kids only have the time they have for their studies...
