And please, NO personal "stories" ok? We all know that they are lies.
What I'm looking for is concrete evidence of divine intervention in the affairs of man.
For instance, why would "god" sit back and allow the death of innocent civilians in the middle east? Why not just "divinely" inspire the leaders to say sorry and shake hands and make up?
Wouldn't that be a MUCH better solution to what is going on there now?
Or is he just a sick, demented bastard who loves to watch children get blown apart by shells and rockets?
Hmmmm?

you want to know when God has interceded in the lives of men but you don't want any personal stories? that's stupid. how r u going to hear about these intercessions if you don't want anyone to tell you about them?

you can't know the number of times God HAS touched the hearts and minds of individuals to prevent disaster.

you have no idea how many children God HAS saved.

finally, God is a lot smarter than you or any other human. he knows what he's doing, and he gives humans a choice to follow him or commit evil acts. you can't blame him if humans screw up and start blowing each other to pieces!

ok, you want a solid example that is not a personal story? try this one. it's true, you can look it up on the internet if u don't believe me:

in January 1995, the Norwegians accidentally launched a harmless missile into Soviet air-space. the Soviet government, which relies heavily on its launch-on-warning system (which basically triggers all their nukes to launch) came within TWO minutes of having to decide whether to punch the button that would basically have triggered World War III, which would have been a nuclear conflict that would have probably decimated our planet.

in the nick of time, the Russians realized that the missile was NOT a ICBM launched from the U.S., and they deactivated their systems.

two minutes. a few seconds more and maybe you wouldn't be around to ask that question today. maybe you think it was just chance. my belief is that there are no such things as coincidences.

you go ahead and believe that God isn't doing anything in the world today. i know the truth, and so do millions of others who have had those "personal experiences" you hold in such contempt. you're going to wish God WASN'T working in this world when Armageddon rolls around.

Be careful what you say , you will be judged by every idle word you speak , Matthew 12:36 . If you are doubting the people and their stories , why do you ask them ? God works in many different ways . God did not kill those innocent children , it is satan , the father of lies , he is the prince of the power of the air and has control over you right now , John 8:44 , James 3:6 . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved . 2nd Corinthians 9:4-5 . Don't be deceived by satan . James 4:7 God bless you

Even scientists who don't believe in God, agree this world we live in is full of laws that are consistent and naturally enforced. In-light of that, if a God did create this world it seems he would be a big fan of natural laws. According to the bible one of those natural laws is Free Will, the idea that although God could over ride our personal will, he will not.

So this is why God doesn't "divinely inspire the leaders to say sorry and... make up"

He does intercede in the world on regular basis, personally I believe that's why there hasn't been nuclear holocaust yet. He doesn't impose his will on us, we have to choose to do his will.

"we all know that they are lies"

I somehow think that even if "one was to raise from the dead and tell you in person" that you would not believe, so why do you ask what you already have an final answer to it? Don't waste your time by trying to justify yourself to me. Simply remember this:
July 2007 or sept 2009 something huge will occur. The mormon church will claim a miracle within 100 yrs and the us will become a mormon nation or will have a mormon president. Your grandchildren will probably be mormons. US will go to war with Israel and all nations.

Now, my question to you is: when this happens will you believe? I already know the answer to this: NO.

You mean besides the burning bush? Or that time some torch was lit for some bible guy to prove that God exists? Yeah, nothing since Bible-time.

Unless you count the image of Mary on the piece of toast? Didn't the image cry out margarine or something?

Never because there's no god. Idiots wait for a supreme being to solve their problem forgetting that the holy books claim lound and clear that god couldn't solve the first crisis-Eve doing oral-sex on animals. See? there's no god, just aliens who don't really care that much about us...

Demanding that God do YOUR will is not going to change things. Humans are humans. They are going to choose to do good or evil, just as you choose to go against God because you don't know any better. You're following man, not God. In case you haven't noticed, we are living in Hell already!
