Absolutely, because lies hurt more when the truth is revealed. People can live with truth (even when they hate it), but deceit and something most can NOT live with.

Yes, I would. The truth may hurt...but a lie will sting even worse. If I knew what had to be said would hurt badly, I'd gather up my courage, sit my loved one down, and just tell them. Talk it out, and hope for the best.

Of course. The truth is what everyone wants and needs. Would you rather it come out in an arguement and then what? They will see it more negatively then if you come at them respectfully. Depending on what the truth is, maybe it is something you both can work together on.

Lies hurt more when it's all said and done...do you like to be lied to? Treat others as you would want them to treat you...if you don't like lies, don't tell lies...if you don't like people to withhold information from you, then don't withhold from them...
Emotional pain can be overcome...I'd rather have the pain of the truth, than the false contentment or happiness of a lie (because the truth usually comes out eventually, and then it would hurt worse)...

Yeah, sure. Though that I would try to break it to him nicely, if possible. And I'd tell him that I told him cause it had to be done.
